It may seem like a hard task, but burying speaker wire is easier than you think!
We are here to show you how easy it can be to bury speaker wire in your outdoor installations. Follow our step by step instructions for your next outdoor speaker project.
Step 1
Start by mapping out your run of wire to ensure your path is optimal for your speaker installation. Be sure to avoid any undergrown electric and utility wires, or pipes. You will need to have a landscape edger and speaker wire that is rated for burial installation.
Step 2
Insert the tip of the edger about 4" to 5"and rock back and forth to split the soil. Moving along your planned path, continue to insert the edger and split the ground. Go back over the split ground with your edger to further widen your trench.
Step 3
Now, begin inserting the burial wire into the bottom of your newly created trench. Once the wire is securely inserted into the trench, simply fold the ground back together by firmly pressing on it with your foot. After a week or two of lawn growth, your speaker wire installation will be undetectable!
